Droop vs. Straight snoot

Looking for some advise. I have a '96 Carrera Eclipse 20.5' and am at the point of doing a droop. Looking to stop the boat from porposing as much as possible now with 2 babies in the boat. What's the difference between going with the droop or the straight? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Typically it comes down to trial and error. Testing out both and see how the boat reacts. Certain boats will like one more than the other.

I'm pretty sure a droop will exacerbate your porpoising problem. How is it setup currently?

Dominator pump with just a hydraulic place diverter. No wedges or anything at the moment.

Ride plate?

I'm curious myself I have the same boat, same problem while loaded. I was thinking droop but not sure if it was going to do the trick... still new to this stuff

All the people I know with the same boat all have this problem. A droop will not help no worse no better noir did a straight snoot. The only thing I heard that did work was trim tabs. Not sure what up with the design of This hull but I did watch my buddy go through hell with his. He never did fix it just sold it and got another boat.

Well, family is growing so bigger boat may be a good solution! Been a bitchin boat though outside the porpoise issue.

I have tabs on my 20' placecraft they were on it when I got but out of adjustment once I got them dialed in it fixed the problem and I went from 66 to 72 on gps
