Hey everybody I'm thinking about how to prepare for this coming winter to keep the rain out of my boat. It is stored outside in a storage place. I have a cover for it but water seeps through, I also used one of those blue tarps in conjunction with the cover but some how the rain still got through. I had a little bit of mold that I cleans up with bleach. The forecasters say it's gunna rain like crazy. What else can I do.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. As always I look forward to everyone's ideas.

I have been talking to many scientists that are the people responsible for tracking the elNino and what it's capabilities are.
That being said, their words, "this particular warm tide could bring more extreme weather than it could drought ending rain fall". That's a scary statement coming from someone "in the know".
That being said, if I have to store my junk outside, the engine and the interior comes out. I know it sounds like a P.I.T.A, but so is trying to clean up the mess...
Like mobboss says, you need to keep the air moving and you need fresh air changes to prevent the sweat from becoming mold. I normally use 2" PVC with a bunch of 1/2" holes drilled in it to support the covers, you can by screen caps to keep the wasps and stuff out of the boat. The air can escape and return through the end of the tube.
You will need some fittings to screw the pipe to the end of the tarp...
Works killer and it's incredibly inexpensive.
