I was out there for a couple hours in the morning.  Got a ski in, and went home.  I would have stopped by and said hello.  I see you have Nate's old boat.  He is a good friend of mine.  Been in that boat many times.  Looks like its holding up pretty well.

I can't say enough good things about the guy even though I've never met him lol I picked up the boat from his dad's house in Havasu put gas in it checked the oil and went to pirates Cove the day I picked it up .So far I've changed out the oil sender ( it was leaking bad)  and had to replace the u joints and a bushing kit in the jet but that's it , the boat was exactly everything he said it was and more plus the stereo kicks ass as you know .I love the thing it's just an all around great boat and all of his hard work shows, next year or the end of this year I'm going to get it reupholstered. Oh yeah and I put a brand new Bimini all stainless on it the original one broke .Eric

Good to hear man.  He had for 10 years or so and i dont think it ever broke down once.  He always takes good care of his stuff.  Hope to see you out on the water some time.

Yeah he picked this up last month.  We took it to havasu a couple weeks ago and has a blast.

Yeah I like it down there when we had jet skis we would stay at the Rivera rv resort is there anywhere to buy fuel on the water ?

Thats were I stay.  They have a gas dock, but I usually fill up on the AZ side.  its like $1.50 cheaper

Can you leave the boat in the water or do you pull it out ever night?

I always pull it out.  Some people leave them on the water overnight, and end up with a beached boat in the morning

oh yeah I forgot about the water levels dropping on the river at night especially down there. Is there any place to buy fuel on the water?  I thought there was a marina down river from blythe ? It's been while since I've been down there.

the only place i know about is the riviera to buy fuel on the water. i had to get fuel on the water on the 5th it wasnt too bad considering its on the CA side and on the water. And supposedbly 92 octane. it was 5.00 a gallon

I remember way south there was a marina but that was like 18 years ago so I haven't been there in a while lol

The biggest problem I have and I swear it's the truth is if the waters smooth the boat won't go fast enough!  Lol and if we're in front of pirates Cove I better be throwing a roost or she's pissed at me!

Thats awsome !! I have video of my wife dam near pukeing and saying she hates the boat. But I promised not to post it....lol mabe one of these days.
