I noticed at the end of last season one of the logs was leaking at the riser. I pulled both but the one that was leaking is damn near impossible to separate from the riser. I am thinking of buying a new set. I have included a picture of the ones I was looking to buy but was wondering if it would be better than logs (more power ect). also I was looking on CP but I was not able to locate the gaskets and bots. Any idea on where to get these?

Glencoe sells all the stud kits and gasket sets for the log and snail manifolds. The riser type exhaust is definitely better flowing but is very pricey. The risers are going to take up more room in the engine compartment as well.

You probably wouldn't even notice a performance difference to be honest. With the riser exhaust u are going to have redo some water lines and the way the risers hook up to your exhaust tips I'm sure will be different.

I have used the penetrating oil and a torch over the last month with no luck lol.

Try soaking them in ammonia cleaner for a while. Ammonia eats up aluminum oxide.

I've used Parsons before. Works well but you will need to polish them up afterword.
