Fires

I'll get some pictures up shortly. I only have a few so far, need to find my camera... All the pictures I have already uploaded are on myspace and are lacking in detail. They really don't bring home just how close the fire was... However you can see the helictopters and planes flying 50-100 feet over my head.

In the pictures on the street where fire engines are visible, the fire is burning along the walls at the back of the homes on the left. Wind is blowing from right to left. If you were watching the news as they were covering Stevenson Ranch I was on local channels 2-4-7. Nothing heroic, just standing in the driveway taking pictures, haha. Camera man sat there recording me for two-three minutes. Never said a word, was just standing there looking at me through his camera...

This camera is a POS cheapy I picked up and it has been through hell and its only a year old.....check out the black fuzzy line in every picture...thats inside on a lens. I really need to invest in a camera for the site.

Run for cover ......... insurance can replace the material shit. I've been driving my rig in those high winds for the last couple of nights...... not fun,,,,,,, especially when the trailer is empty.

Humidity is on the rise and the santa ana winds are starting to die down so hopefully they will gain some control over this soon. So far I am not in the line of fire , but you know how things change.

This was just across a four lane highway from my place in Saugus.Sorry about all the movement the winds were howling. Oh and sorry about the annoying neighbor too. You gotta love those superscoopers!
