Hey guys, I am looking for a good App to download on my Droid X. I am specifically looking for one I can use in the boat to capture top speed, anybody have any suggestions???

That is a nice one, I did see it before my original post. I think it's a bit too much for my application, I can see where it would be a life saver for you in the circle boat though. My need is more just for capturing top speed. (really I just don't want to go by a Garmin e-trex).

I have been playing with "GPS Spedometer" on my Droid X while driving to see how accurate it is.  I have set the cruise control in the truck and the app has been right on with the truck going 70. Will also tell you and average speed over a period of time. Pretty simple app and its free!

Thats the one I just downloaded. I will check it on the way out to the river in a few hours. If it checks out with the truck speedo, then i'll use it in the boat.
