If you live in California, its nothing new that you are used to having to deal with new BS laws/regulations when it comes to Firearms. But we just had 9 bills pass senate today that could be very harmful to our second amendment rights in Commiefornia.
I urge anyone that cares about their 2nd amendment to take a second and sign a petition and give the governors office a call. Heres a quick synopsis of the bills and what they are in my words. I dont have the time to read all of them, but i have read some of them.
1. AB 156 - Started life as a bill to allocate a minimum of 25 percent of money in a fund to communities in section 39711. IS NOW A bill requiring ammunition sellers to be licensed, face to face only. This includes banning internet/mail order ammunition sales. Also you will need a license to purchase ammunition
2. SB 1235 - Started life as a bill regarding government employees and a retirement system IS NOW A bill requiring ammunition sellers to be licensed, face to face only. This includes banning internet/mail order ammunition sales. Also you will need a license to purchase ammunition
3. AB 1135 - Started life as an amendment to the Food and Argicultural code NOW basically bans 90% of your semi automatic rifles
4. SB 880 - Essentially banning any rifle with a magazine that is not permanently (welded) to the receiver
5. AB 1511 - Originally an Insurance code amendment - NOW makes it illegal to loan a firearm to a friend
6 SB 1446 - Essentially will get rid of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds
7. SB 894 - Makes it a crime if you dont report a stolen or lost firearm within 5 days. (think if you were on vacation for 2 weeks?

)
8. AD 857 - Originally an amendment to the Health and Safety code is NOW a bill requiring all 80%/home made firearms to be registered
9. SB 1407 - Same as above, but including antique firearms as well.
Dont just take my word for it, you can read it here
