God all this hatred towards Boyd. Has anyone ever spoken with him directly? I have on a few occasions, and he's been nothing but cool, polite, and funny. The show makes him come across as worse, but he's a nice guy as far as I can tell. And if you ever see a stripped down '73 Challenger in the background of the show, don't worry, he paid in full

Jimmy Shine show is cool, I watch it every Thurs, but some of the stuff he says just sounds EXTREMELY planned out to me, I like the parts where you can tell he is really saying when it comes to him. And I wanted to know last night if that Bitch ass Blonde got kicked off but now I have to wait until next episode!

i think he means he sold boyd the car it was paid for in full, but i agree boyd is a dueche bag(sp?)

I don't know him well personally. I just sold my old challenger to him. Everything that occured between us was smooth. I'm not saying that his show isn't planned either, it's just Jimmy Shine is a really bad actor.

Really don't think he's acting....Just building cars...If it were an act and planned I'd be shocked that he would put up with that much shit from that bitch...Think he's too much of a nice guy....

I don't think the shows planned at all, just sometimes when Jimmy is alone talking to the camera is when I think he's a bad actor. But everything else I think is real, I wish all the other guys including Pete would rag on her and let her stay, but put her in her place

Did anyone ever catch an episode ont he OLN network where john the owner of ultra was building theme boats. I only saw one where they did a 27ft cat for the PBR. Don't know if it was just a pilot or what. From what i saw it was a good show.

Mike , I saw several of the shows . It was iffy at best . They totally made it up just like american hot rod . You could totally see that the shop wasnt like that either .John the owner posted on HB something to the effect of him suggesting some ideas for the show so it didnt come off so fake . That was the last of the show from what I remember . John doesnt come off (to me anyways ) like he did on the show . Everything about the show looked made up and you could see it in his face that he didnt like it .

As for this hard shine show . I finally saw a comercial for it a couple of days ago and then low and behold it was on last night . What a fukin let down . Jimmy Chine is either a tool or is very uncomfortable in front of a camera . To me it looked like it took a couple of takes before he got the script of what he wanted to say down . The guy just doesnt have any enthusiasm (sp?) At the very least he's an idiot for keepin the skank on as long as he has . He's a saint for that . 

These are just my opinions and are in no way shape or form to be misconstrude as "written in stone" or to be confused as "the ways of the world ". Just dont hate me cuz I'm right !

Exactly.....

Here is a couple of shots from my cousins garage. "Upland Hot Rod Co." My cousin Victor and a top notch fabricator. Do just about everything imaginable . Last thing I saw was a whole trunk replaced with the wheel wells extended to accomodate the Z-ed frame and a new trunk floor with great lookin beads , Drilled and tapped all together with stainless fastners . No B S  pop rivets or self tapping screws holding a bunch of micky fuked shit together .

This is his car that he can never seem to decide what eventually wants to do with .



This is the last car I saw there (its been months since I've been back) that a customer left just as a chassis , cab , and a motor on a stand . He's had some other very coo shit through there . I'm sure he has tons of pics too. Not bad for a union paver
