Anyone got a quick fix to get the smell of gas off my hands. Replaced needle & seat and made a big mess lol  . Now washed hands twice with no luck. I usually wear gloves but wasn't thinking lol. I know what a wussy wearing gloves. But got in the habit from when I was a full time mechanic and soap was drying out my hands to the point of bleeding.

washed twice with fast orange! gf says lemons so gonna go get some.

Try vinegar then her favorite hand lotion.

Got a better (or worse) one, 15 years old, camping at Shasta, had a charcoal lighter fluid can mostly empty, decided to see what would happen if we threw it in the campfire (did I say we were 15), this sucker wasn't in there two seconds and poof it blew the fire out of the ring and all around us (we were right next to the water thank God) weren't any adults around at the time and we didn't say squat, the next morning we noticed all the tents had dozens of holes in them, funny, no one ever figured that one out

Got the idea from my dad actually, he tells this story about putting an unopened can of VanKamps pork and beens in the campfire, everytime he tells that story he damn near pisses himself when he gets to the part of everyone picking beans off themselves

Sorry to thread jack but inspired by the other post I will share one of my fondest memories:

So at about 18 a bunch of us decided to go camping/fishing. Now I love to camp but I hate fishing, so damn boring.  So before going I decided to invent a new way of fishing(now back then the internet wasnt what it is today). So I took what I had and bought the rest:

1. Used Co2 cartridges
2. Silicone Caulking
3. Gun Powder (Did you know you could buy it at 18)
4. Waterproof fuses (Also available to purchase at 18)

So you drill out the top of the Co2 Cartridge, drop in a lil powder , cut a fuse to length, silicone the top and repeat, many many times.

Go camping, find a nice water hole, drop a lit one in and just stand there and watch! WOW, that shi$ is cool....Woolah, dead fish!

Why we all still have are hearing, eyesight, fingers...I will never know!

I gotta ask, was this by any chance OLD FUEL? If it was, forget it, a pint of stinky old gas will stink up an entire neighborhood for days..........No cure, except time..........MP

I went to "chat", no one home, but you guys are kinda scary. Blowing stuff up?......I know jet engines scatter like chickens when you drive into the farm, but blowing stuff up on purpose?........MP

Lemons didn't work. But woke up this morning and it's pretty much gone. I will try mustard and vinegar if it happens again. I think I'll go back to wearing gloves.

And remind me not to go camping with you pyros lol. Not because I'd be scared but because I'd probably be the one standing next to you saying no, no, more black powder!!!
