Just a heads up for anyone heading to the river and or Havasu via hwy 62 through Yucca Valley. Hwy 62 is closed just outside of Twenty Nine Palms.

aka rice road. its closed from the 10 to videl junction.
I will be passing through there on the 95 south. Looks like that stretch of road is still open.

Is it closed between 29 Palms and the 177/62 split (Videl Junction) or between Videl and 95.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Yes it's closed just out of 29 palms. So you can't make it to the split at 177. I did hear earlier that 62 before Vidal junction was reopened.

I normally run 10 to 177 (desert center) to 62 (rice road).
