i hate boats...

so i thought my new exhaust set up would be pretty easy and to the point. now i am thinking i should have just bought a new set of snails and logs.

we got one side almost done after 5 hours of fucking with it yesterday. today we are hoping to finish up since we did most of the learning and going back and forth on ideas on how to do it yesterday..

i will post some pics when i get a chance.

i know the boat i got was supposed to be a good deal. only needed a carb and distributer. well after replaceing the stringers the floor the transom the motor the guages the stereo the carpet and now the exhaust. i am well over 10k into this thing. but i am determined to win this battle.

I have an Excel Spread sheet of every part number, cost, outsourced paid labor and every nut and bolt on the boat. You really do not want to know the real cost...

If you don't hate your boat while your working on it, then your doing something right...
and that is not normal.

Just make sure you have extra tools to throw and the kids are wearing ear plugs.

Besides you need the kids around so you have something to throw your tools at!

my boat has only gotten wet this season when i was color sanding it. the motor that sits in it has not even been turned over yet. it is just sitting there waiting. as soon as i finish this dam exhaust i will be on the water every weekend.

Story of my live. I have no interest in trying to determine what I have spent on this POS but it's enough that I'm thinking I couldnt be any more upside down in the whole (money spent vs. what it's worth) dealio.....

Just keep plugging on and get the exhaust done...........

If I added all money just on stuff that I just new would work, make it look better, make it go faster, want it to mach the truck thats towing it, and all that litte stuff that has worn out, I probaly be in this boat that I saw on boat trader for 16000.00
