I think I finally snapped

I went to work today, and I quit!! I HATED working for the State Of California, I couldn't deal with the BS anymore, told my supervisor to get my resignation papers and sign them. Ahhhhhhhhh that felt GREAT!

Gave up the gravy train. I do understand about the bs though! I've come close to quitting a time or two! Good luck Brother!!!

I just couldn't do it anymore, I didn't really have enough time in for retirement to be an issue so it boiled down to peace of mind and $$$, I have another job starting on Monday, back to Const. Project Mgmnt.  It's going to be a nice change of pace.

Good luck to ya Skip :D  My wife used to work for the state in sacramento in a budget dept. so she has been following whats been going on. A bunch of BS if you ask me on how they do things, and from what she tells me its no wonder they dont have a budget yet :mad:   Mark
