nevada was trying to change their laws to where you had to show up regardless, but they stopped sending them certified letter style...since they didnt come certified how can they prove you got them?

The wife forgot to show up last time. When she called to tell them she forgot it changed from a "call in " to a mandatory show. If I were you I would show. Just my .02

My wife gets one every 6 months, maybe even more often than that.   She has actually gone once in about 15 years.  I would think they are gonna bust her ass sometime but it hasn't yet.

Ya I used to get out of it because I had my daughter to take to school and pick up. They nixed that and now say get someone else to do it  Then I got out of it because my DL is with my dads address in LA county and I live in Orange county :sly: hehe. But when I had to register my daughter for public school, they wanted my DL to be current, so now I'm screwed :banghead:   Have had guys at work wanting me to write letters for them saying its a hardship for them, because we dont pay for jury duty, NOT didnt work either.

I DON'T THINK I CAN GO TO THE BAR FIRST SINCE IT IS AT 7:15 IN THE AM. MAYBE I'LL JUST DRINK ALL NIGHT BEFORE AND GO IN REAKING OF BOOZE. AND I DO ACTUALLY HAVE A PAIR OF OVERALLS I'LL SEE IF I CAN FIND THEM. I GUESS I WILL GO DON'T WANT ANY TROUBLE. I REMEMBER ONE TIME WHEN I WAS LIVING WITH MY DAD HE MADE ME GO FOR HIME SINCE I AM A JR THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE DIFFERANCE.

I got one when I was 18. Called the 800 number and said I had school. Got another one and it somehow disapeared before I could open it and read it. Have't had one since. That was about 7 years ago. Had back ground done and it never showed up. That was San Luis Obispo County, Ca
My girlfriend got one and didn't respond. Then got a letter saying that she had a warrant (bench warrant for the legal guys that have heard of it. LOL)out for her arrest. She had to call them and go in and they cleared the warrant. That  is Kern County, Ca

Only had 1 notice, back during my divorce, once they knew about that, in the same courthouse, I was sent home, lol.

Haven't had one since. Might have something to do with owning registered machine guns, I dunno.

Hey Coors
do you have kids. say you are divorced and having to do jury duty would be a financial hardship for you and would put you in arrears for your child support.
that is what i did and said to get out of jury duty for myself. and nope didn`t have to do jury duty and wont get another notice to do one for about 2 yrs. at least that is what happened here in okie ville.  good luck.
