kocking
« on: July 29, 2011, 06:54:00 AM »
Ok so i got a knocking noise coming from my 460 now.....  ruled out that it is not a spun rod bering because you can hear the noise right away once you start up the engine even when the oil is cool and thick, also when its running i have great oild pressure im running a steady 60 on the oil pressure. So the noise sounds like its comming from the oil pan the only thing i can think of next is that maybe the pickup that goes to the oil pump cam loose and is hitting the crank.  only real way to tell is to pull the engine and take off the oil pan but i was just seeing if any of you guys might have any ideas
