OK so i know lakes have speed limits on them so if i were to get pulled over an the lake patrol said i was going to fast  i could say officer i didnt no my speed because i dont have a speedometer see. so would that be a good enough excuse

funny this came up, i was a buena vista a little while ago and i was running my boat. when i came to shore here was this ranger saying i was going too fast (speed limit is 45) he proceeded to read myself, luckiestiff, tow truck and a few others the riot act about speeding .... telling us he is certified in the estimation of speed on water and at this point i was  cause he could have ruined my weekend... well then, after he left with his chest all stuck out and feeling bad ass because he told us white folk how it was... did i mention he was of dark skin?

when he left i waded out to my boat to check my trusty gps that i always have zip tied to my steering wheel and guess what???  43.7mph nope i was not speeding as he said.......

hahah ok i wont worry about it to much  i was just wondering cause one time at san antonio first time there with my boat  i had my boat wide open hauling across and my friend was sitting passenger tapped me on my shoulder and pointed to my left and i see two lake patrol just staring at me with  this gnarly  death stare i thought they were going to come after us so we spent the day down by the dam in one of the coves hidding because i didnt really want to get a ticket
