2002 Silverado ext cab longbed 2wd. Time for new tires and I want to stuff a little bigger tires under it. Trying to decide between coil spacers new coils or spindles. I have a separate complete set of control arms upper/lower with stock spindles since the ones on the truck got boogered up in the accident a few years ago. Anyone have experience with a small lift in the front?

Using the stock aluminum wheels 16x7 I think. I know using bigger tires on stock wheels might cause them to wear funky but I don't drive it unless taking the stand up to the lake less than a mile away or going to homo depot. They'll rot before they wear.

I would go with the spindle lift. It keeps the stock ride, doesn't mess up the upper ball joint and the alignment stays within factory specs.  I have done this to a lot of trucks. Just my two cents.

X2... Spindle on the truck you have looks really good and like Baker said, no geometry issues. I'll try and get a picture of my buddies and post it for you. He's got 17" Gordon's with 33s.
