Look what followed me home vol 10
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:48:51 PM »
So I couldn't say no, I almost feel bad for the guy I got it from. Lets say I paid a little more for this than I did my other one.

You might want to find a new way home before the wife makes you find a new home.  ;D

Yup, 460. block, crank, rods, dual carbs, the timing cover, Dooley pan and scoop and valve covers. Heads and tunnel ram were not included. But she's complete minus motor.

Wife approved of this one before I went to get it, not like the other one where I just showed up and was like " hey I got a boat".

Gonna take the pump and motor crap and trailer. Then drop this hull on my single axle and get rid of it

No I like the kona more, it's a little wider and longer in the seating area compared to this one but this ones got a good extra foot in overall length. I like my little booger. A lot of time and swear words went into it.

The hull will be goin up for grabs for 700 on Craig's but 500 for Scjb on a single axle with title. Tanks and intake included with hull.  Found the last registered owner on face book, hoping he responds to get some info. Looking around it looks like a "ranger".

If anybody was interested in going Comp Jet racing, this would be a great start to what I think would be a great hull...

Notice the dropped chines   :sly: ... The bottom is similar to a Rogers TR without the flat bottoms on the dropped outer chines, full stringer and best of all affordable..

Bet this thing turns like a rabbit in the snow.

So I'm gonna bring this up for picture reasons. Hopefully Glenn will chime in. There's Is an unusual hump in the deck and after looking at it tonight with a member here that came to look at it it appears there is foam under that section of the bow and the foam/wood caused it to swell up. But there's no apparent stress cracks or anything on the decks surface. So if I dig out the foam what are the chances of this thing going back to its original shape. And it's not a gradual slope, it's not there then poof it hops up an inch and then continues to gradually slope to the edge.

Any body? If its not save able I'd hate to do it but ill end up pulling the tanks and intake and taking a skill saw to it. It's a solid hull other than the hump
