Maiden voyage (to me) in the NORD today...

launched the nordic today in alamitos bay, and i know im gonna catch hell for dippin it in the salt, but i installed a tee for a garden hose and flushed the crap out of it. Anyway, hope you like

The Monterey is in Alamitos, lots of freeboard-challanged v-drives and such as well... they have to launch when no one's around

yeah, a little 2ft chop or so, inside the breakwater, on the way over to the yardhouse in downtown LB...handled great! it plowed through most of what my other boat would slam on...i love it!

right on, i love mine. the only problem is i dont have a place diverter yet, so it still rides a little rough in the wind chop. maybe next year we will be at the river the same weekend. i would love to get the two together.

and as for the Nordic Regatta, i didnt make it to it. i had to stay in town for work that weekend. next year for sure we are going!

oh, i will! just waiting for the right job to come along, then i will be able to afford to go anywhere i want again...dont take it personally
