I thought that was Haynes point , been there at Cabana Beach  every summer for 30 years til  last summer when i got tired of being hasseled for my loud boat ,will never  go there again

the old farts (and I count myself among them) that run the town want all the summer crowd gone and toward that end last year banned boat and trailer parking anywhere but in a downtown unsecured lot.no more parking it in my campsite and within the next couple of years will ban boats left on the water overnight, not that I would do that but its one more nail in the coffin. They dont seem to care how much we spend on gas food camping booze etc ,not to mention rattlesnake canyon and the windmill  ,mmmmmmm I love the windmill. anyway its much more fun at the river down south

i hear that but sadly we are an easy target. the last time we went they were reluctant to let me launch at the same place we have gone for the last 27 years. longer than they have owned it and we have never been any trouble

the compost marina is one restaraunt I cant stand

NOT A WHOLE LOT TO CHOOSE FROM there.used to be a chinese place that was on main but it burned down 15 or so years ago.alway get pizza from the pizza factory across from the liquor store .diamond steakhouse is always good and the pub across from the husky has good food as does the one where the highway turns right in town as you are headed east by the park
