my wife and i are on vacation this week and she wanted to go to the museum, i did'nt but i work on my boat every weekend and spend lots of $$$$ on them. So you know what we did today (lol) We went to the page museum (aka)Le Brea tar pits and after that we hit the peterson auto museum. if you have never been to these two places you should go. I thought is was going to be bunk but i really had a good time. my four year old daughter even liked it. heres some pix

growing up in southern cali the tarpits were a every year fieldtrip

same here....but every year it got canceled due to mosquitos    ....so ive never been. 

Never been to either one....... will have to make plans
