Somewhat of a thread jack..
I don't know if I told this story before...
I was at the Cow Palace boat show several years ago (more like 15) and the show was over Superbowl Sunday

So I'm working the show selling Monterey boats helping out my then bosses, right across from Advantage Boats and this dude comes walking up to me wearing some Levi's with holes in them and a sleeveless pullover sweatshirt, he starts asking a bunch of intelligent questions and to make a potentially long, boring story short, I sold him a special order 25' Cruiser...Optioned out pretty good, he asked me if I liked The Grateful Dead, I said sure, I like all kinds of music, so he gives me two back stage passes, second row seats, a VIP badge and crew t-shirts for the Shoreline show, he was their production manager (Jerry Garcia was still around then)...pretty cool, that is virtually my best celebrity story...

Maybe other than getting to meet the San Francisco Giants Baseball team and throwing out the first pitch at a game (have the ball and the picture), that was a little over the top...

The show was killer BTW
