there is a lighted boat parade in naples  / alamitos bay in longbeach this saturday night....im taking the yellow daycruiser and having some fun with the kids..... you can boat or just go to walk around in the little town wish me luck ill take as many pictures as i can........

Well i took the family to the boat parade..........had a great time overall..........i had spent 3 nights up untill midnight trying to come up with something cool to do for the parade...i looked @ pictures online allover the country trying to get some ideas...i felt i did the best with what i had and the boat looked great...i installed my placediverter rudder i bought from tom @ jbp which helped out alot cruising through the canals..i set up the boat with all the lights , load every body up ,drive over to the staging area and shut off the boat cause im 1/2 hr early (which never happens) i figured i would just float for a while by marine staduim, and when i see some boats start to line up....i got no juice to the whole dash (WTF) my christmas lights are working fine on the inverter, i have the battery switch to all and nothing to the dash area..... i keep messing w. the ign switch and no power, i even try to hotwire the thing (just no power up there)....so now im floating away from the parade area and heading towards some other BIGASS boats cruising around...finally i tossed out my anchor and got it to bite...and still tryied for 1/2 hr and still nothing...i had my buddy tow me to the dock, and i started tracing wires.....found a bad fuseable link from the solinoid to the curcuit breaker...i mcgyvered up some extra wire and a few connecters and she fired up right away..........slammed everything back together..i was about 40 minuates behind the parade....i hauled ass to the back of the line (in the no wake zone) passinfg all kinds of traffic and canoers and i missed the "santa " boat (which was the end of the parade) by two boats, we still did the parade and cruised around....the place was packed w/ 1000's of people allover on bridges and in back yards...overall we had a good time!!! and got to relax after we finished the parade route!!!! so theres my little story....going again next year for sure!!!! here are some pics i had
