Yes, those detectors are designed to all go off if one goes off. Could be batteries, but if they're at or beyond the 5 year point (Manufacturers say 10 years, which is BS, at least here in arrid environments), time for Brandon to invest in some new detectors. All of 'em. Finding the one thats causing it is futile for the 50 bucks or so for new ones.

Also, I know here in the PHX area, the local fire departments will come and check them out, and even replace them for you if you already have them, for free.
