I have a 75 Hallett bubble deck. The Bow hook broke, went to replace it, found that somebody had foamed underneath the deck. Need suggestions on how to remove that foam so that I can get to the bow hook to replace it

I just removed the foam from my hallett. I used a sawzall, square point, and round point shovel. It may not be as full as you think. Mine had big almost balloon like plastic fillers inside also. So it was not completely full of foam. I think I filled two or three 33 gallon trash bags. That shit gets everywhere, have a shop vac handy.

Here's a thread that kind of shows what my Tahiti was like.

Mine was a foam block that I cut into about 4 pieces and it came right out. But it looks like you have a wood bulkhead and that might make it a bit tougher. I would get the longest knife you can get, and just start cutting chunks out. Hopefully, it's not stuck to the hull.

Wear gloves, long shirt, and a mask if you have to dig that stuff out. I was itching for a couple of days after.
