I agree it's fugly looking but I'm curious to see what suspension mods they did. I'd rather get a new half ton and put my own fiberglass kit and mazzulla long travel on it

suspension is kinda weak compared to the raptor. they could have really done a good mid travel kit or even a coilover with internal bypass.. I wasn't impressed. and I'm a chevy guy. comes with rigids though.

Fox shocks has a contract with the raptors. King should do one for the chevys. It would improve this truck tremendously. It is kind of ugly looking though.

You could buy a new halfton take it to mazzulla with his kit up front and a bedcage with deavers and out perform both the reaper and raptor for less $$$. The idea behind the reaper and raptor is cool but in reality not worth the money. For 50 grand you can build one nice Prerunner.

I like the raptor just way over priced for what it is. That chevy looks like it fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch. Dodge did one that Carli built I think and it was very well done.

The difference between the raptor and this ugly as thing and a prerunner is warranty you spend 40 on a prerunner you fix when broken!

The Chevy suspension is just like the new Toyota tundra Baja or whatever was in those supercross commercials it is nothing compared to the raptor with Fox's designs

Ford and fox spent something like 3 million on r&d on that suspension and it works just over priced

Raptors have stock lowers and none of the factory "prerunner" trucks are worth the price and you break one off road you fix it no warranty on romping it

Exactly plus you could buy a stock 4 wheel drive f150 and go on race-dezert and find the suspension fenders and complete interior from all the guys stripping them and building prerunners!

My buddy has a bad ass silverado prerunner that he has anywhere for 30k to 40k in it. And it will out perform either one of these trucks by a long shot. And his truck is built really well. Haven't had any major breaks at all. But granted it's just like a boat, eventually your gonna need to fix something.

I see more raptors in junk yards than any prerunner trucks. The problem is with kids and stupid people is that they buy this "car" ( I say that because if it dont have an 8ft bed its not a truck) and think they can do what a truggie or prerunner that is the same price can do they are wrong. the raptor is a prissy off road truck. I could do more in my old 97 dodge 2500 2wd ex cab long bed 12valve diesel than you can in this. Im just saying. They are both a waste of money. Ill keep my 4x4 duramax and go buy another o e for 50k and get my moneys worth and it will last a whole hell of a lot longer than these two "cars"
