Noise restrictions in So Cal
« on: February 13, 2013, 09:02:35 AM »
Which lakes in So Cal are more lenient in terms of allowing loud boats?  I know they really don't care at the river, but is there any place locally?  I just sold my tournament wakeboard boat.  I now want to get a fast jet boat, but would like to know where I can use it.

Lake Elsinore. Every other lake governed by ca parks and req requires baffles that I know of, where are you located?

Depends on the speed you are looking at. Elsinore has a high speed zone down the middle that is at too speed of 120 and the rest of the lake is 35, but I pretty much always cruse at 40-45 with no problems. And there is times that I get passed.

Only 120!  I was hoping for a higher limit. LOL!!!
