Not a flotation device?
« on: August 23, 2013, 01:51:07 PM »

What do you mean the new brake calipers for my Ford truck aren't a flotation device? Darn, thought I'd killed 2 birds with one stone!
Oh wait! You can't even eat these? Gotta go back to AutoZone.  :sly:

Sad thing is they put that there because someone has tried it.

Now that IS sad... I assumed it was bad translation into Engrish.
Sure, we bought 3 sets to use as floaties for the kids - big chunks of iron ough to do just fine at Tahoe.
Point at face? Oh NO! Which way is it pointing NOW?
Can't even imagine how one would INGEST.
Don't most mechanics work on brakes indoors, in a shop on a lift?

Sorry for the political puns, I have a two hour wait here at the CA DMV.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
