i find all kinds of help on engines, rigging, electrical, cooling, etc but theres a giant hole where boat interior knowledge should be.  ive scoured the internet for how to build seat frames... im pretty hands on when it comes to anything, i redid the fiberglass floor.  i gave a few shops a call on getting interior put in and i was shocked to find out that interior almost comes out to as much as ive invested in the boat itself.  so i found a pair of seats from 76 bonneville a while ago and recently took em apart to use em as templates to make new frames and glass em so they're nice and bulletproof.  hopefully i can get those to an upholstery shop soon and finish my project. 

anyone else do their own or did you just end up bending over at a shop?

Would be interested in some input. I have a friends jet boat with an interior he wants to redo except most to the plywood is rotted out so I could use some help to fabricate new seats, then take everything to an upholstery shop.
