Oil at the bottom.

When to take the battery out of the boat to charge it for Havasu next weekend. I noticed Oil at the bottom under the engine doesn't look like there is any leaks.I took it out on Father's day and everything was find. Is that normal

I had the same thing happen to me. Found it coming from the valve cover gasket and oil breather.   Good luck.

could be the oil pan plug is loose or dipstick tube is seapping.

Oil filter loose?
I know my pan has 3 different plugs so check all

Did you change oil and filter recently?  If you did and did not have something below the filter to absorb the oil that drips from the oil filter pad then that could be what you are experiencing.  As soon as a little water mixes with the oil it looks nasty.  Clean the mess and go from there.   Keep us up to date.

Yea. Im sure its something simple.  No reason to over think this one. Rule out all the easy/stupid stuff first.
