okay here another dumb ?

can anyone tell me most all jet boat the steering wheel is on the left side of the boat. could it because [WE] are always passing the v-drive i/o any good comments!!!!!! ??? :banghead:

Well Rusty, funny you should ask. See back in the Early days of hot rod boating or jet boating as we now know it... there was a jet boat pioneer by the name of Old Jimmy one arm. Although there are no pictures of old Jimmy, the legend has it that he was missing his right arm due to a nasty ski rope in the pump accident. See jimmy was the fonzi of Jet Boating so when he helmed his boat on the left, everybody just followed and that became the standard. Now you know.    :beer:  :screwy:  :beer: lmao

maybe simpler than that.
Jet boaters are always closer to port than other boaters. its a matter of necessity and safety.
