I read that there's talk of the next vintage jet boat race at Parker, I'm amazed! The last time I was there (and the only time) the wakes had white caps!  :o

Yeah but it was fun as hell watching my friend's '76 Hawiian flying through the air every few seconds!  ;D  I was watching from a fishing boat with an...   uhg...   outboard.

The SCSC/APBA will be at Parker in April. We have been racing in Parker for a very long time. The race is held at the Bluewater so there is rooms for everyone as well as camping.

Omar , what Rod failed to mention was the weekend he came with us was 4th of July and packed as all hell! I am pretty sure that on the race weekend it will not be the same as 4th of July weekend.

Beerjet, what Marc failed to mention was that his back, scalp, and fingers were sore as hell after that trip.  ;D  ;D  ;D I can still see, in my head, Marc pickin' at the blisters on his scalp while he was driving down the highway leaving Parker!

The party at Parker is, well there is nothing better.  :o

Good idea! On one trip my "sun hat" was one of those hats the foreiners wear in the rice fields, any time I felt stupid for wearing that hat the feeling quickly went away remembering when Marc was picking at his scalp blisters!
