Presidential election

It looks like the race is going to be close. I would like an idea where SCJB members stand. I've heard that people are de-friending people over this election  >:D

the popular vote is close... the EC vote isnt.

obama is going to get another 4 years.

not that i agree with everything obama has done/says I dont think romney was the man to take him out.  i got tired of hearing the same things over and over.  "i started a business, i balanced the olympics, i put together a catalog of women for my cabinet"  he started strong, and ended weak.  it was a good try.

Looks like we're screwed again for 4 years!

Not that Romney was much better, mind you, but I think he woulda done less damage and repaired some of the damage already begun. Obama already knows the game and how to really screw the country up now.

Well said
I guess I should just embrace the fact I keep slipping further & further from middle class status.

I'll start to teach my kids not to set goals and not to work hard to achieve them because in todays society being financially successful is frowned upon(unless you Rap or play Pro-ball). Teach them someone else will provide us with health insurance, education, housing, food, milk, alcohol(we've all seen the husband and wife team that pays for groceries with government issued money and then pays for their smokes and beer with cash). Teach them that it's easier to strong arm or steal from someone than work hard to get what you desire. Teach them to disregard the morals and work ethic that founded this country.

Sorry where was I going with this post.... oh by the end of the next four years I'll be able to change my status to "Poor".

Lets all cheer because the republican did not get into office :banghead:

Teach your kids its good to be successful by having 3 year old communist make your products sold in America. I don't think so.  Remember its WE the people not we the rich.  Just like this site....we all help each other out in all forms. Nothing wrong with self made wealth as long as you didn't cheat to achieve it. If there is a day sometime in the near future you become sick or whatever....and are in need of assistance...its we the people. For every one person taking advantage of our system there was a million selling interest only loans to someone they knew couldn't afford it.  So who's worse...  As far as what this country was founded on: liars, cheats, scandals, criminals, tax evaders, greed, and don't forget it was/is someones else's property in the first place.

Instead we have a Communist in office selling us to China.
Many of you are to young to remember or weren't born yet. In the early 80's car loans were over 20%.
Those days could be coming back with the spending our current Zar is doing.
From Geoge Washington to George Bush 9 trillion in debt, Hussan Obama added 6 trillion in 1 term.
China will want there money back with interest and we the people will pay

Just remember history all empires have failed sooner or later its our turn! Jefferson said after 200 years the constitution would have to be rewritten and it has, only to help those in charge and rich so no matter how it ends we are all screwed sooner or later!

By bailing out those who bought, sold or invested in interest only loans that had acumulated before he became president. You must be a FORD fan as they didn't take any free money right...unlike chevy.  If you are so worried about people getting free stuff on your dime...lets see here. An american needs help, government steps in after alot of red tape, gives aid to those, those people buy things made in china, those things are owned by big corps who just happen to be republicans like Romney. This dept was on a spiral way before Obama, but because he helped save so many by adding to it....like chevy...lets blame him. I'm neither demy or repub and it was obvious he is a better choice at this time. And I'm glad I didn't hop on the hate band wagon. New Hampshire still has live free or die on there plates. How did that state vote?
