Anyone got any news  ???

We don't race until tomorrow. We are all testing at twin palms today. Terry lost oil pressure and ron got water in a cyl.

Otherwise testing went well with everyone else.

Crazy eights = 94mph

Straight from Facebook:

Not enough boats to make a legal class today. The class is scratched. Tought weekend on all the boats

Lance and matt broke...harold and brad were only left to race. Brads msd died after the first heat and replaced it with the mag. Brads boat Boat wouldn't start so harold ran a single lap since the white flag was already out.

1st - harold
2nd - lance
3rd - brad
4th - jim rich
5th - matt??? (Bahner)

Brad spun out in the first turn flooding the boat but caught up in the final turn almost catching lance.

too many boats broke and we didnt have enough boats for day 2 so the class was scratched.

the 2nd heat i couldnt get my boat started on the water and harold made a solo lap to take first.....so in short, there was only 1 heat of compjet racing the whole weekend.

there are endless possibilities as to what happened with my motor. after review of my onboard camera, the amount of water i took in is unreal. its very possible i got a ton of water in my tank. the msd system probably shorted out. there was a ton of water in my cap.

I need to put together a list for you, I can make a jetboat motor damn near run under water...Do not mount the ignition box on the  motor for starters, when the motor gets wet, it creates steam, steam kills anything electrical, almost immediatley.

There are numerous little tricks you can do that will all but eliminate water troubles.....

Sorry you guys had a tough time, sucks for sure.

Looks to me like the setup is close though.
