I know it's pretty ghetto but I always have a dock line around my steering wheel to tie up, just don't get your dick caught in it.  I use the ski tow to tie up the back

I just tie to my ski tow in the back and my bow hook on the front. Works fine for me!

I have thought about adding the retractable cleats on the inside edge so they are kind of hidden.

I installed the pop up mushroom cleats from Rex Marine. They are on the inside edge and hardly noticeable.
