Representing SCJB at 10,500 Feet
« on: March 12, 2008, 02:22:18 PM »
I did something totally out of my mind on Sunday....

[gv=475,325]-6724438188284957090[/gv]

The guy strapped on my back was more concerned about me looking in the camera then me trying to enjoy myself. He almost got a donkey kick to the balls after the second time he pulled my head back.

Here is the 3nd camera angel from my friends jump..

Way to go Brad. I lost a bet at work a few years ago and I did the same thing over Elsinore. Had to go back for more so I could do a summer sault out the exit door. Glad to see I'm not the only  :screwy: :screwy: one here. P.S. Who's the blonde dish with you?

That's awesome!

I've always wanted to do that. I only went once and it got rained out and I couldn't go.

my favorite part is right after we jump...the look on my face....priceless.

i had a blast, but I wouldnt do it again. Once was enough.

Also, if you notice the first time he puts us into a spin with the chute out.....you can see the agony in my face.....the force of the harness ripping into my legs was so painful.

the place i went to was in san diego off the 905....so we had a bitchen view of the ocean, san diego and mexico. never knew there was a bull fighting ring in TJ....and from that high up, the line of cars coming into the US is unreal.

The girl with me is my good friend Kristen, I've known her for about 10 years and shes the one who twisted my arm to jump with her for her 25th birthday.

Kristen: How far do we have to go?

Jump Instructor: As soon as we pass Hawaii!

The instructor had convinced Kristen the islands off the cost of Mexico was Hawaii. She aint the brightest crayon in the box  ;)

What a killer view! Congrats. I dont have the nuts to do that yet, maybe sometime soon.  Your right, that guy pulling on your face would have got his ass kicked when i got on the ground for takeing away from the great experiance. Looks like he did it 4-5 times. I would have been pissed.

IMO it really wasnt that hairy for me. The equipment they use now is pretty fail safe. I will admit that the scariest moment for me was when we got to the door at 14,500 feet above Lake Elsinore and I made the mistake of looking down. (he told me not to do that). Once we were out the door it was the ride of my life and something I will never forget. Something I think everyone should do at least once. As far as "jumping out of a perfectly good airplane" , the planes usually arent that good ;D

lol Bob. I know an airplane mechanic....................Give me the god damn parachute...

I also know the people who manufacture the wings for all Boeing and Airbus commercial jets, why hell I contribute to the effort indirectly... I will say this about those fine men and women----I DON'T FLY! lol.
Some insight, those people who are waiting in line to cross the border, ya they're about to apply for a job to help assemble parts for those wings. Comforting huh?

That is cool, you shoulda kicked him.

yeah, the plane we were in wasnt luxurious by any means...if you watch in the video, there is no interior at all....headliner was stripped out...we were sitting on the floor...wires loosly dangling from the ceiling. it was almost calming to know you didnt have to land in it.
