Reverse cable

I need to get a new cable as you can see. I've looked and it's no problem getting one but there sold by feet. My question is where is it measured by. End to end or bulkhead on the bucket to handle or what. Thanks in advance

The cables we use for reverse buckets and Place Diverters are measured in total overall length.  There should be a number and length printed on the cable near one end.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
