Since I told my brother he's getting the new one, (Madddog's Bahner)at least to drive (He's in the middle of a divorce, gonna STAY mine for the ime being) He has this brilliant idea of installing his supercharged Lexus GS 400 engine in it!

The Idea is GROWING on me, lemme tell you. Gonna suck to trash that car for the engine, but whatever.

I KNEW it was a matter of time before 'Import Nights' tried this.

Ok, so research shows that a stock 2JZ-GTE with all accesories weighs in a 500lb's. Strip The AC, power steering pump, water pump, etc and you could probably get it into the low 400 range! Im trying to figure out where to put an intercooler....

This was a dangerous topic to bring up! Doesnt Ironman make engine mounts?

More research shows we arent the first to think of this...

you could run one of the air to water intercoolers like they do with a supercharger setup. I have seen them on mustangs. One side is the air charge cooler, which is basicially a radiator that is sealed in a box and the air going into the engine is forced over it and on the other end they have something that looks like a lil radiator on the front of the car for the air to go over and release its heat. Heck, if you ran that you could use a crapload of boost because you could just pump 60 degree river water thru the air charge cooler :-D
