I never realized how fast my CR250 was until I got there . It took me forever to slow down at the end of the strip  :D I tell people goin to Glamis is like being on the moon , a completly diffrent place and the drags is by far the best time in the dunes .

Yea, most of the bikes had Nitrous, and were running Alcohol. Many bikes were in the 1lb were hp range... way to quick going 100mph in 300 ft

I'm watching that video and all I could think is how stupid those spectators are to be standing there.   Homemade rigs, testosterone pumping drunk pilots and drunk crowd does not bode well for good outcomes.  After reading about all the drama on Halloween I think that is no scene I want any part of.   For those of you who do please play safe!

Thats probably the safest not the safest place and your right . You risking life and limb just being there .

If you really want to how stupid a human being can be , you should see how people gather at a dune to dune jump behind oldmoblie hill and literally stand on the landing to see the cars and bikes jump . Of course someone always gets smashed by a flying truck and they want to hold the driver esponsible . People will clear for a while and literally 30 minutes or less later , there is another crowd gathered on the hill and in the path . Those people , I dont feel an ounce of pity for , sorry.
