At least they'll be riding it out in good company.

Danny and Sheree just called me.  Their house is still standing but officials won't let them in just yet so they are heading back down to Hallett Dave Headquarters.  A Silver Bullet Sunday perhaps?  Yep, guaranfuckingteed.

Just wanted to put it out there. The SCJB crew is awesome. Cowboy Mark and Teresa have been in contact, and offered anything needed ,Hallett Dave offered his house and driveway for the boat and good wishes from members. Thanks you guys, it really is very much appreciated and will not be forgotten. Hoping to see everyone at Big River !!!

When the Mareck fire broke out a few years back, we were evacuated for over a week. The fire was less than 50' from our front door. The firefighters saved our house and our boat. I hope all goes well for you sir. Thank heavens we live in a country where no expense is spared to save the dreams and lives of it citizens.

Hey  Pat, it was the first thing hooked up. Right now it's at Hallett Dave's and he's putting up with us for a couple nights ! You guys are gonna be at big river correct.

Keep your head up .. Everything will be cool .. Good guy Dave it's all about support .. Fire is no joke when I lived in the crest line  area and the fire came and we had to evacuate .. Not a good feeling ,,

Just make sure to tell Dave to fuk himself if he needs help next time on the launch ramp.

Oh Jeez! LOL!

Hopefully the fire is over soon! Looks pretty nasty thus far!

Glad to hear everyone is ok.

Thanks everybody, just got back to the house. The only damage I've found so far
is burn holes in the car cover on the Chevelle. I think the paint got burned but its insured.
Burned all the trees across the street, up to the end of both cul de sacs that we're on. Burned our
neighbors back yard but no structures in our neighborhood except an abandoned house near the lake.
I know a few lost homes in the surrounding area. 
The fire crews did an outstanding job for what they had to deal with here.

Special thanks to Hallett Dave and Erika for their hospitality of both home and boat parking.
Thanks also for all the  offers of anything needed from several people here on the boards.

Brad, this really is much more than a boating website, everybody in the group is
like family to us.
