I am going to start moderating the site a bit more heavily. The name calling, v-drive/jet/outboard bashing, bigotry and unnecessarily rude comments have gotten out of control lately. It is less then inviting to new members. I have tried to contact people directly or mildly edit their posts, but it has been ignored and it continues to escalate.

This site is what you guys make of it. If you want to sit around and call each other names and get nothing accomplished, PM me for a list of forums I can recommend. I don?t mind friendly banter, but its gotten extreme and has taken some threads way off topic. If you want to get it out of your system, that is what the Warzone was created for. Keep it out of all other sections of the site.

Point is that the staff @ socaljetboats has given us all free reign as to what we say ,and with the site growing with new members and tryin to get real sponsers to give scjb funds for the team . Things are goin to have to be tightened up such as staying on topic and all the off color comments we and I for that matter make . I would hate for Aministration to make this place feel like a class room versus recess.

I regained control of the site early this morning and will continue to weed through yesterday?s garbage.

I need to ask for everyone?s cooperation to get this site back on track and keep it on topic. The less time I have to baby sit you guys, the more time I have to spend to do cool stuff for the site and team.

brad just let me say i like the site but it just seems that if we dont race the circle circut we arent welcome why cant we all just get along.

I honestly dont see this happening on this site. This site may be called "SoCal Jet Boats" but theres people from all over and several differnt types of boats including v-drives and outboards. Everyone is welcome from your family lake boats to your full blow race only boats.

Thats the vibe I want here....everyone to have fun....joke around, but when help is needed or questions are asked....I would like it to be taken seriously with good solid technical information. As I have stated many times, this place will only become what you guys want it to be. As it is only 6 months old, it is still being molded into the monster I hope it to become.
