SoCal Lake opinions

What is the best lake for a day of water skiing on a weekend? I like Buena Vista on a weekday, but not so sure for a Saturday or Sunday.

You are not really close to anything but I can't think of any lake in SoCal that won't be very busy on a weekend anytime after 7:30 a.m.    Off season you can go anywhere and be all alone pretty much.

I think you are thinking about Pyramid. Gets windy. Castaic gets busy, Piru didnt seem that bad until about noon when the wind came up. On the weekend you will be a little hard pressed to find somewhere that is good for skiing. If you do find somewhere I would keep that little secret to yourself ;)

We always used to make the 5 hour drive to Nacimiento. Grew up fishing there in the winter and skiing in the summer. Not sure what they are like now, but back then no sound restriction!!!

Is anyone going out this weekend?   I am trying hard to talk myself out of going back to McIntyre.  The weather will be better than local and the pervs will be gone.    >:D
Somebody help me out here.  It will mean also that I can put off cleaning the boat for another week.  My hull came back dirtier from the river than it does from 3 trips to Elsie  :screwy:
