You have to consider that with a piece of equipment that size it will most likely be running non stop from start of shift to end of shift,  possibly multiple shifts. The cost to maintain something that size is enormous.

Yeah....I know machine cost is high. Maintenance could be a tad as well...And for that price...I'd expect that unit to run 24/7
Just didn't realize it at time....40k...still sounds like a lot to rent...must be a percentage of total cost of unit.

40k is for an average work shift, anything above the pre agreed hours is billed at an hour machine use rate.

Keep in mind we operate in all of Cali, AZ, and a large section of Nevada and only have 4 machines that size in our rental fleet. Many customers or job sites can't suppose a machine that large.

Our bread and butter is the 85k machine, those we have like 20ish of. And then the 120k machine we have 7, I believe. We are a dealership so everything is for sale and something new is always coming in.

Oh yeah we actually have 1 machine larger than that this one too, 225k.
The yellow one is 225k the red is 180k.

The yellow one has to be transported with everything removed, and even then it was still "illegal" weight. But it only went form the Anaheim convention center to our yard in Placentia.
