Tom, I listened to a lengthy interview with a highly experienced (bronze star and 3 purp hearts) marine last night. He had no complaints about the pace of things. He called it "shaping the battlefield". If it had not been sucessful, the US would have looked like bunglers. I cannot imagine how hard a shot it would be to make a 3 simultaneous kills from one moving boat to another at night.
Reports are coming out now that the pirates were out of food and ammo and getting desperate. Their boat was completely enclosed so we couldn't see them very well, and they were actually in tow because of high seas. I would be the last to think that The One had much of a hand in this, but at least he wasn't Jimma Carter who took an entire year to decide to attempt a rescue of American hostages.
