From what i hear Josh @ JBP is the man to send the carbs to. I got a Holley waiting for him as soon as i get to that point

I can do the holleys my self,this is a q jet for my 68 firebird.This is the original carb so I wanted it to look like new redip and bush the pri throttle shafts and build just for that engine.I get it back and its full of bead blast,shafts loose,no spec sheet,the idle screws,one was 2 turns and the other was 4 turns out.So I sent it back and Iam in Fl and called him and bitched so I get it back today all clean tight shafts ,put it on the car and now its dripping out the primary boosters when its at idle and after I turn it off it still runs out.So I guess I have to adjust the float and phuck with it and the price of his shitty service was 350.00.Time to cancell the card.

yeah, the quick fuel carb i got had the rear float WAY off right out of the box...it had a geyser of fuel spewing out of it.

I had the carb shop rebuild a carb probably 15 years ago.  It took them 3 tries to not get it right.  It was so bad I disputed the charge with my cc and they never said a word.  Although the staff has probably changed -I would never go back.

My buddy took a center section in there that needed to get the throttle bushings replaced. I had all of the other parts, but I wasn't going to assemble it just give to them to disassemble. It only needed the teflon bushings replaced.

In spite of how many times I told my friend that just have them replace the throttle bushings, I'll do the rest, they convinced him the carb was junk becuase it was missing too many parts to make work. They graciously kept that junk carb, and I was never able to get it back in spite of my best efforts.

Another sotry is my friend bought one of thier Holley rebuilt carbs for his 302. Well, he had to sue them after the carb leaked and caught the car on fire, totalling it.

I refuse to deal at all with them.
