I have been towed in a few times. Most recently by Brad. The funniest story I ever heard was from Terry (HDriderTH) and his wife telling me about being towed in by a sailboat. (He claims he has pictures).

This next one also involves Terry, and as I heard it, and it's recent, Terry ran outta gas on Mead and got towed in by some "less than enthused" Middle Easterners on PWC's.

Soooooo, basically, from what I heard and my own assumptions, Terry got towed in by the pissed off Taliban on Jet Ski's. 

Now THAT'S FUNNY! (Love ya like a brother, else this wouldn't be so funny!)

Several years ago we blew up our BBC in a badass black and maroon Renegade my dad owned (when you put closed chamber heads on an open chamber shortblock, they don't run long, but they do run hard ).

We waited in the hot sun (Lake Nacemeinto on a 100+* weekend) for over an hour before we even saw another boat.

Finally along comes this old ass Glasspar (light green) with Bluegrass music blaring from a boombox on the dash and a couple of hillbillies in it and ask if they could help, we had no water, no beer, nothing at all to drink so we accepted very greatfully. We get tied on and we asked what they were fishing for (saw the gear on the back of the boat), "catfish" he says, I didn't say a word (afraid I was going to crack up).

So we are getting pulled for about five minutes and their boat just tops dead (strait six Mercruiser deal) and the dude say "no problem", gets a 2 foot long 2X4 and beats the living crap out of the fuel pump, the other guy hits the key, we're in buisness again.

This goes on for like an hour, with the dude beating the living hell out of the fuel pump about every ten minutes.

We finally get back to the ramp and I never felt so grateful to be on shore again.

The funny part was when we tried to give them $40 for towing us in the dude just declined and said "nah thats OK, we will probably just spend it on booze and ammo."    

Needless to say, we broke camp that night and just went home.

It's not as good as your guys stories but....I sell my k boat to my next door nieghbor(never had/been in a boat in his life) a few weeks go by and he informs me the damn thing stranded him on Utah lake at dusk so he called 911 and they sent the coast gaurd out there and saved his azz.  I ask him what was wrong with the boat..he says ohhh..I guess my buddy accidently unpluged one of the wires to the fuel pump when he got in from skiing.

Yup, got towed in by a sailboat. Yea this Iranian was all, "I dont understand, can I go now" Chromey hooked my rope on his shit and we just kept pointing at the ramp. Was'nt OUT of gas, drained one tank and it popped and blew the rubber out of my pop off valve. I'd keep the hillbilly sh*t on the DL around here.....

Oh yea, thats got to be the funniest ever. I think it was mark who was towing him, looked back and the fucr was gone! Hafta hit him up about it Friday

I got towed in this weekend. Took my buddy 1 hour and 15 minutes to go from Big River to Wheel 'R in on a boat ride and bring my truck and trailer back. Its a 10 minute boat ride and 5 minute car ride. I was ready to kill the fukker, while my boat was slamming into the dock after every fukking tower boat drove by. I was so pissed at the time. Did I mention it was a fresh rebuild. F my life. Gotta take a few days off from the boat. So sick of working on that POS. Gotta hand it to my roommate though, she was a champ and backed up the truck and trailer into the water. Gotta love chicks that can back trailers up.

i still remeber terry's face (WTF) ..when the guy asked "can i go now" 100 yards from the ramp....lol....
the guy kept trying to floor it in the no wake area while i was holding the rope on the bow of the sanger....boy was it slippery....freshly polished and waxed...i just kept pointing to the ramp he had a dumb ass look on his face....WOW

The Chaz was drinking,  fell off the boat and the guy towing it kept going, all the way to the deck. Or something like that. THere was a post about it some where 

I was wondering if that would come up...again...

It was some funny shit, the camel jocky kept want ing to punch it and Chromey kept sliding to the very tip of the bow then he'd say whoa abdule the the asshole thot he could split.
