Was on my way to Park Moabi aboutt an hour 30 minutes away from home and my USED to be old faithful Expedition decides to show the check engine light and run like crap. turned around in victorville and barely made it home or should I say chugged home. Used half a tank to get home

And to think this was the last trip for it, because when I got back Im finally gettin a new truck

called a shop here in Brea and said if i have it to him by 8am he will make sure its out by at least 10am, so with fingers crossed I still may be at the river!!!!!!!

Normally i would give you crap for owning a Ferd, but in this case i wish you the best of luck getting her fixed and back to the river

The only reason I didnt go to the UNofficial parker gathering was because of this trip which was planned a year ago, really did want to meet ya all

and 2Sav I dont need your help about the FERD, I have my 13 year old daughter telling me on the way home that I have a piece of crap, and go buy a new one

Now I get a couple of calls from my buddies kickin it on the beach havin cool ones and firing up the barbey DAMMNNNNNN

This still suks.....last I have heard is that 2 and 7 cylinder problems changed coils and plugs no change, compression check.... ok now maybe a fuel injector or maybe the computer DAMNNNNNNN

All my buds keep callin me havin a great time at the river wantin to know when im goin

just makin it worse

I feel your pain man. But sitting here posting about it and waiting for the dang dealer to get 'er done aint gonna get you to the promised land brotha!

If i was you, Id just rent/borrow a vehicle and get your rig down to your Campsite and enjoy the rest of your week! Heck, I have an 07 Expedition which the lease is almost up on. Ive been contemplating just renting a truck for the times I go to the river and tow instead of making that 800 bucks a month nut for the tow vehicle. Just some ideas.

Or just pull the trigger on the new ride and see if they will work a deal on the way the current Expy is. What dealer is it at? Ken Grody Ford is my client and I got alot of pull down there, if you need me to make a call or anything I would be more than happy to. I got friends there also who can quote you on a new rig.

Well the expedition still aint runnin right after 200 bucks and the woman got pissed and took me to the FERD dealer and now I have a 2008 F250 SD sittin in my driveway I AM GOIN TO THE FRICKIN RIVER TOMORROW

As for the expedition they gave me a plug (spark) and it looked like hell changed two coils compression check and still couldnt figure it out, it runs like a john deere tractor, now telling me its probably valves

Only 2 days but i MADE IT TO THE RIVER

and dammnn it was HOT, 122 when I was there. The boat ran awesome both days
