Lucas off road races on saturday. Early sunday morning driving to santa barbara to look at a boat

. then the rest of the day were celebrating moms birthday!!

theres a huge FORD car show at knotts berry farm for FREE on sunday. everything ford, mustangs, AC cobras, broncos, tbirds, etc.

My cousin callled last night. He wll be a vendor at the lucas races this weekend. He watched the practice yesterday. From what he said looks to beabout an avergae of 80mph and a massive 120ft table right in front of the bleachers?
What boat you looking at?

Ford show sounds nice. Kinda fel like a traitor after buying my ultra. Went from ford to chevy. But atleast i still have the right concept and tow my chevy with the ford

Fab fords is the best show of the year! Ill be there sunday in 57 merc monterey. I havent missed that show in 10 years.

Yeah a buddy of mine does a lot of engine work for quite a few of the teams. He said the table is gonna be awesome. trophy trucks should be around 100mph when they hit it!!

Killer. Cant wait to see some racing. Good luck with the rogers. Have a buddy who has a rogers. Nice boat. Think he is ready to sell. he really wants a harley. I know he payed 5000 and will take 5000 if he is ready. Boat is turn key and sits in the garage. Only problem he has ever had with it in two seasons was a starter. Could ask him if you want.

Should be good racing!! what year and size rogers? the one i am looking at is a 16' 6". should be a river cruiser.

He was just short of my 17'6" Kona so im going to guess 17'. The year is unknown to me so again i will guess but 76 or older. It does have a 468 with a split bowl. Was usually one of the faster boats in our group but we have since then stepped up.

Just called him guess the Rogers was the same length. Anyways 1974 Rogers super cyclone 468 chevy with roller rockers set up at low compression to run a blower.

the kids name is Ryan Beat, races for Hart Racing driving a prolite, he lives up near you in menifee. we should be near their trailer somewhere, not sure how that track and pits are laid out

testing went

couple of minor things to fix. Boat put down 73 on gps turning 4900 on the unit. guy told me when i bought it that she was good for over 80. thinking a seller told the truth. would have found out if it wasnt for the damn wake board boats

Yea they screwed it up for the whole lake including the high speed zone.... Worst part is the massive wake there throwing just so there riders could fall down dumb just plain

I thought the high speed zone was closed on the weekends...?? Or at least not a high speed zone.
