ok i know i keep having problems  but heres my new problem i have a ticking noise in my engine at first i thought okay its my lifters i checked it they seem to be fine next i need to check to see if my pushrods are the right length cause i know that could cause a ticking noise like a type writter . next i figured okay well worst come to worst it would be my cam and lifters have ground down only problem is i have no idea what a ground down cam lobe or lifter would look like. i pulled my top end and pulled out a couple lifters not all of them and i only did one side of the head and the lifters look fine to me they look flat like the should... then again like i said i only checked a few and only one side.. should i check all of them or i dont know any ideas ? plzzz i am stuck i may not be 21 wont once i am all buy everyone a free round at the bar or something if i could get as much help as possible

i am running a  460 and mechanical fuel pump

I've never heard of one doing that, and if your cam was going flat, it it would be running like crap. Sounds like exhaust leaks
