Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

hell no, toss a 4.6 32v cobra motor with a whipple, t56 and an 8.8" into it.  not a lame sbf pushrod.  enjoy 500-600hp that'll run all day long with the AC on.

60? 61? We got a 60 we have been playing with for a looonnng time. 144 inline 6 with a 3 on the tree. We put a header and a offenhauser manifold on it. Fun little car. That tranny I could lift and hold in place with one arm lol. Eventually it will get a sbf and be a little Thursday night 1/8th mile runner at irwindale. But alot of projects in front of it. Ill take some pics tomorrow and post em up.

Nice ride Ralph...though it's a Ford  ??? . I have a buddy that has a 4 door, he ripped a 305 out of his fox-stang stuffed it in the Falcon and is working on making the rear doors swing "suicide". If you need any parts he has the hook-ups on the hard to find stuff. Let me know if you need anything.

The 6 is a good motor & they can make some decent power with the right parts & love. Your achilles heal is the cruise-o-matic trans, they're not known for longevity & you'll play hell finding a rebuilder. The early C-4 is a pretty simple swap, let me know if you need anything, help, parts, etc.
