Got to work today and had a little excitement as soon as I walked through the door. Our sister yard had a stabbing so I respond with my crew to provide coverage while they lock everyone up. No biggy till a gust of wind picks up all the oc (pepper spray) powder (from a grenade they popped to stop the fighting) and we get dusted. Half hour of coughing later, all is good and I'm back in my office. The phone rings, it's for the other Sgt. I had him the phone and pop up out of my chair to make room for him and the large pepper spray canister I carry on a leg holster gets caught on the arm rest of my chair (now these have a safety pin but they get loose from wear and mine has slipped halfway out) I spray oc all over my my thigh, chair, belt, radio, keys, my jacket hanging up, and a burst goes straight up my right sleeve into my arm pit. Son of a ........ I run down the hall to the bathroom to start rinsing this sh## out as quickly as possible. I'm coughing and sneezing like crazy now. I rinse off as much as I can. I come out and the hallway is clear and everyone is outside. I walk out and they're still laughing. So here I sit, my arm and thigh still burning after two showers and my uniform and jacket in the washer. I shoulda stayed home today.

I HATE that damn OC! I was in a gym doing some work on a 4 yard, C/O was shadowing me pretty tightly, not sure what happened, just know his cannister let loose and I got the brunt of it!

You shoulda stayed home for sure Sam, sounds like you would have been way better off. One things for sure, today can only be better huh!

F*%K OC!!!! I had to get resprayed in Jan. Our sh!t is 24% whicj isn't even the highest stuff they have.

For those who don't know how OC feels, (it's like pepper spray on crack!), imagine pouring gas on your face then lighting a match!

i can relate.
i walked into work today and got to the third floor where i am working at in the electric room. i notice some small dime, quarter size spots onthe floor. i think it is some ketchup or something lke that. i see a piece of plastic on the floor and use it to rub over the spot. it isn`t ketchup but shit. someone either had diarehha or something. left like 6-7  spots on the floor. the  biggest is like 3 inches. come to find out that they had taken a shit in a plastic bag and threw it into the garbage cart. told the cleaning guy to be careful because it smelt like shit around the cart. and when he went to empty it sure enough was a bag of shit in the bottom. and it was fresh not old. so was done first thing in the morning. man if i could have caught the sumbitch who did it i would have kicked the jackass in the freakin head. what a way to start the freaking day off with.

is oc similar to the military cs?

yep, same thing. the new stuff we have is 55%, burns like a MOFUGGAH if you even get near it.

Some of us are familiar with the other side of law enforcement.

Last night was definitely better, my partner caught a guy using a cell phone in the cell. If the guy would've handed it over, my partner would have walked away (we hate cell phones), but dude tried to flush it. So we wrestled with him till he got it flushed. So we pull him out and start searching and my partner finds a Fiddle Faddle box full of weed!!! At least a pound seperated into quarter ounce baggies. (My wife's first question when I called her was are you bringing any home lol.) So dude looses a couple of grand worth of pot over a cell phone which is a minor offense (loose 30 days of good time credit and if they stay good for 180 days they can get the credit restored!) No he is facing felony prosecution. What a rocket scientist.
